I know, I know. I’m sorry.
It’s been a long time, but life happened. Long story short: got married, had baby, and now that Munchkin is (somewhat) able to entertain himself, I can get back to work.
So, now that the personal update is done, time for the much more important writing update.
After nine years of work, and several significant delays, Phoenix, the first book in The Carter Files, is scheduled for release.
Yes, it’s true. It’s finally here. The scheduled release date for Phoenix is Tuesday, April 14, 2020.
That is a special day. Not only is it Easter Tuesday, the excitement of Chapter One begins on April 14, 2479.
(I really tried to release the book on April 12, the day the prologue begins, but that is Easter Sunday. Not going to release the book on Easter Sunday, sorry.)
So, get ready for a police procedural in space. It’s coming soon.
I’m also going to be good and do some regular blogging, so stay tuned for more news and updates, as well as some sillyness.
In the meantime, two of my short stories are available for purchase, and both of them take place in the same universe as Phoenix. First, “Backwater” was published in the Freedom’s Light short story collection. And just recently, “Much Madness Is Divinest Sense” was published in the Planetary Anthology Series: Luna. Follow the links and take a look!
Congratulations (on the book and the baby)! Let us know where to order it.
