Been a while, I know. I keep forgetting that the blog even exists.

Don’t hate me, I have three kids. The newest one threw off a lot of blogging, writing, and life in general.

But, of course, worth it.

But, fortunately, book two of the Carter Files is now here!

This one got a really great review from Steven McEvoy. Whenever I have a screaming baby, a messy house, and two toddlers that like smacking each other, I will think of this amazing review and feel better.

Biggest compliment of my life as an author so far: that he’d be okay giving this book to his kids.

Raven also made it to #12 in the New Release category.

In addition, Husband has a short story written in the Carterverse that was published by Raconteur Press:

Probably in even bigger news: audiobooks for both Phoenix and Raven are in the works! I will continue to update when I know when they’ll be done. To be fair to my narrator, they’re really BIG books.

I have a short story in Space Marines 3, also by Raconteur Press! I was really proud of this one, especially the wacky title. “How to Decline Lodgers With Extreme Prejudice.”

So, I’ll try to keep the updates coming, and definitely do some reviews on more stuff (books and movies, definitely).

Finally, for anyone who follows Lori Janeski on Facebook, the current “author page” will be taken down. It’s a pain to keep track of two different FB accounts, so my other one (that I use for book promotion anyway) will be the only one available. I have set the rules for that account to allow followers, so it should be fine. Simply use this one instead.
