After a seriously hellish drive, Lori and her squirrel minions have returned from Raleigh, North Carolina.
HonorCon was a blast! It was really good to see the other members of HMS Hector, like Commodore Christa Brolley!

And of course, all the members of the Grayson Space Navy.

There were authors everywhere, and I came back with a horde of books (all signed, of course!), including one written by the amazing and talented Claudia Christian!

She signed her book for me! I was geeking out the entire time. 🙂
And, don’t forget about the fun times with the boarding action!
Yes, that is a room full of adults with Nerf guns, shooting them at each other and then pretending to be dead on the floor. This is solid proof that geeks have more fun than most normal people. I died twice, and it was still fun!
In more official news, I gave out thirty copies of a CLASSIFIED file, from the Interplanetary Police Forces and signed by Director Gibson. 🙂 Any of you who have one of those in your possession will receive an autographed copy of my new book, Phoenix, when it comes out! So don’t misplace that file. If the Reviewers find out, you might be in trouble. 🙂
So, coming soon after this update, there will be a review for each of the books I bought at HonorCon, complete with links to the authors’ pages. First on the list is the first one I bought: Code Frostbite, by John Darling.
Stay tuned for a few reviews, and more updates as they happen.
